A Thanksgiving Message from the CEO

Giving Thanks and Giving Back

By Sheldon Smith, Sandbank Group

Thanksgiving is a time for reflection and gratitude. As we gather with loved ones to celebrate, it's important to take a moment to appreciate all the good in our lives. Here in Nottoway County, we have so much to be thankful for. We live in a beautiful and vibrant community, full of hardworking people who are dedicated to making our county a better place.

At Sandbank Group, we're thankful for our customers, employees, and community partners. We're also thankful for the opportunity to give back to the community that has given us so much.

Giving Back to the Community

Giving back is an essential part of our mission at Sandbank Group. We believe that businesses have a responsibility to support the communities they serve. That's why we're proud to partner and serve with local organizations like the Blackstone Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber does incredible work to promote our local economy and support small businesses. By working together, we can make a real difference in the lives of our friends and neighbors.

How You Can Give Back

There are many ways you can give back to Blackstone this Thanksgiving. Here are a few ideas:

  • Shop local. When you shop at local businesses, you're supporting your friends and neighbors. You're also helping to keep our local economy strong.
  • Volunteer your time. There are many local organizations that could use your help. Volunteer at a soup kitchen, food pantry, or animal shelter.
  • Donate to a local charity. Many local charities are working to make Blackstone a better place. Choose a cause that you're passionate about and make a donation.
  • Support local businesses. Partner with other businesses in the community to create jobs and opportunities.

A Message of Gratitude

On behalf of everyone at Sandbank Group, I want to express my sincere gratitude to the Blackstone community. Thank you for your support, your hard work, and your dedication to making our town a great place to live and work.

I wish you all a very happy and healthy Thanksgiving.
